That just further hypes swordsmanship as a fighting style. That's something I pointed out in the past. That swordsmanship often comes with an exceptional level of skill that other weapons do not demand (not technically, but philosophically). Hence Mihawk saying that a sword with no grace is no good sword. And the Kitetsu stunt just proved that Zoro is a capable swordsman, not just in terms of skill but also spiritually, testing his fate against the blade's curse.
The fact that there are famous and cursed swords that are hard to master, while same cannot be said about axes, is just further testament that Harald with a sword is at the very least >= Harald with any other weapon.
