As of now there is no confirmed counter to it, so it's the best known defense in the manga
2. HK Regen
Only known counter is Advcoc
3. Marco's flames
Turns him invincible, but comes with a limit and he's still got a physical body, so he can't just brush through everything
4. Diamond
By virtue of being hyped as hard as Sea Prism, which hasn't been destroyed yet
5. Dragon Scales (Kaido's and Momo's)
Needs advcoa, Hax, elemental attacks or other unusual type of damage to bypass the scales
6. Exoskeleton
We've seen someone like Queen being able to damage it with sheer brute force, whereas Luffy wasn't even putting a scratch on Kaido by using G4
Well obviously they can restrain Lunarians as we see captured Alber in flashback and also captured Seraphims in Egghead, as well as Marco choked Alber and Queen at the same time. Also SHawk didn't want to take an attack from Teach's Darkness as well he quickly stopped attacking him after cutting mountain, and went to a different location, and Vegapunk said Franky's laser might be dangerous to Seraphims too. And if Marco's attack had no impact, Alber would simply solo Marco without needing Queen's help in 1 v 2, for sure Marco's attacks were keeping him busy even with 1 v 2.
Plus, Greenbull also has shown with a DF attack he can hurt Alber, though Alber was already damaged, that shows Alber has limit to the damage and limited recovery.
There is also no reason to assume Lunarian can protect themselves against Hax attacks like Law's or Doc Q's, or Hancock's, or other kind of DF attacks.
Kaido was countering Law's ability with Haki.
