We've already seen Rock return to normal after being defeated by Garp and Roger. Detransformation isn't a problem as long as his opponent is strong enough. The issue here is Imu's power development, which seems to be only repeating.

Besides, the hype so far has only been focused on WG's opponents: Loki, Shank, and SHP. WG appears to be nerfed, especially after it was revealed that none of the God Knights can play CoC.

Also I believe the actual final villain is the ancient demon Mu from the first world, not Imu. Imu is trying to resurrect Mu who he sold his soul to.

My theory is that in the first world there was a war between the ancient giants who ruled the blue seas and the winged people who descended from the moon, both races enslaved humanity and one human slave has eaten a prototype paramecia devil fruit which is the Gomu Gomu no mi and then turned into Nika, Nika then proceeds to defeat both warring parties freeing slaves in the process but the accumulation of all the negative emotions from the war that damaged the world gave birth to Mu, the devil. Mu doesn’t have a physical body because it’s a concept and Nika seals it in the Abyss dying in the process.

Mu will finally be summoned to this world and will gain a physical body; this is the world of Mu.

This is really twisted reader comprehension because the whole Final Saga was nothing but a build-up of Imu and WG:

1. Final Saga began with Imu destroying Lulusia's kingdom.
2. Vegapunk Ark was Imu centered, showing WG forces.
3. Elbaf Arc- another Imu centered arc, showing HK, the real winner of God Valley(Imu);

Shanks was planning his actions around Imu (to take down Imu, obviously). He didn't care about BB so much.

All this just shows that Imu is indeed the Final Villain of the series. IF you don't understand it than you are coping.
