Only Nami, Jinbe and Chopper had humble origins. Brook was a military man of some significance at some point, but don't know much else.

Sanji was born normal and became strong for Zeff.
His journey to becoming strong wasn't all that different from Koby. He started out weak and became strong for Zeff.
He was strong off his own efforts pre-Germa.

Big Mom's 80 children don't possess Coc Haki, except for Katakuri.
Blackbeard doesn't have Coc Haki.
Shamrock won't get Coc Haki because he's Shanks' twin.

Everything is a combination genetic, oppurtinity and upbrinigng in the reallife too dude, i dont know why people get so mad about this in manga, unironic illiteracy problem
