Ain't no way you don't know this theory, it's called Cover Kun's theory on TL.
The Covers that Oda draws at the start of the Arc always show the main villain + the main fighters of the whole Arc.
The first cover showed Zoro and Luffy with Loki which meant that :
• The main villain : Loki
• Main fighters : Zoro and Luffy
These flashbacks solidified this with Dr'ed Xebec facing Garp ( brawler ) and Roger ( Swordsman ).
It means that Loki is gonna get domi reversed and Zoro a swordsman alongside a brawler in Luffy are gonna stop him to save Elbaf validating what's on the cover also paralleling what happened in God valley since Xebec was really related to Loki who wanted to follow him.
