Interesting list, but there are many ways a series could be influential. It's hard to say "this is the MOST influential of all".

> Generational reach? In which case I'd say Pokemon. Pikachu is known by pretty much everyone.

> In term of acknowledgment of the industry? For that one I'd say Akira. It revolutionized how the world saw Animation as something more than just a kid's toy.

> In term of artistic reach, Spirited Away opened new forms of animated art everywhere.

> Dragon Ball was good, but it mainly had an influence on the french generation i'm apart of (and later with the US) it had massive influence on the work of other mangaka, but outside of the medium, maybe a few references here and there or kid's playground, not so much. Sailor Moon was also very powerfull at the time.

> Finally, I don't think people realize that One Piece's influence is just starting to bloom. It will surely rival everything in this list. I would even go beyond. One Piece's influence, much like Pokemon does not stick to the medium. It translates in MANYYYYYYY behaviors and creations.

From people climbing Mountains with a strawhat to Protesters burning gov palaces with the strawhat jollyroger in the front line.. For most these IP, it's already over. But OP is not even at it's peak of audience. The best years are still to come. The influence will be massive.

The correct answer is Pokémon, even if we include DBZ, but I’m going with Naruto since Pokémon is just a game franchise with an anime adaptation rather than an anime/manga original franchise
Pokemon didn't influence other anime/manga the way dbz did, or have any impact on the anime community, dragonball made anime mainstream, people don't even associate Pokemon with anime.
