first of all shanks knows Loki had a good reason for kiling l his father
2nd of all ( I have to point out the sons of xebec and Harald ( both have 2 dfs so them having some beef with a different figarland twin fits
so shamrock beating Loki is a fitting set up shanks vs teach and shamrock vs Loki before the series but while teach scarred shanks shamrock beat loki
3 ( lets be real here shamrock could be confused for shanks by people who didn't get a good look at him ( and to be honest if shamrock felt like pretending to be his brother ( like not letting it be known that shanks has a twin in holy land ) he could just cut off his arm etc
4. it would also serve to hype up shamrock as an enemy
