Nah, the good thing was that she managed to survive being thrown that far into the ocean but the downside is that she was pushed that far, whilst losing lots of weight afterwards, in the first place. Meanwhile she was merely knocked out in the manga and she was shown to throw a human sized iron spiked club like a rocket, which destroyed the wooden warehouse.
The manga feat is clearly better.
No information was stated like this but common sense obviously dictates that she is able to handle some creatures at least, considering she was one of the early EB villains with a bounty. Large animals are quite ordinary on Dawn Island for example. This is kid Luffy doing this to a large bear:
These animals are just ordinary in One Piece. So you are telling me a 5 million bounty pirate, known for being a brute, is losing to these animals?
Forget the irl hippo, no pirate is losing to these animals at least, even if it is the weakest fodders.
