I'm not here to convince anyone of anything. Ultimately, the choice of what to believe is yours. I am simply sharing what I know and believe to be true, and if you choose not to believe it, then that is your prerogative. Romans 14: 5 Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
The world is more educated today and yet we still carry around teachings from times when people didn’t know how to read. So the forbidden fruit according to the world is an apple but in which world do we eat an apple and get understanding? My goal is to use the KJV bible to prove what Adam and Eve actually consumed in the Garden of Eden.
Let's start with a definition.
Knowledge - Knowledge means to understand something. People get knowledge through teachings and experience.
knowledge can not be obtained from eating a physical fruit. That is why we have all these schools and universities and in these educational systems there are teachers. I have many scriptures I can share but I will cut it short so that the thread isn't too long.
Wisdom is great but without understanding we are easily misled. Let's get some understanding about what happened in the beginning.
Feel free to read the entire chapter on your own. Now there were trees that grew out of the ground for food. There were also two other trees that were not there for physical food but spiritual food. Pay attention to the semi colon. The bible was punctuated by man however this is one of the cases where the punctuation is in the correct place. The semi colon separates the idea that the tree of life and the tree of knowledge and good and evil was for physical food. Let's see what man decided to do.
Notice all these metaphors that we still use to this day such as: “Oh I see”. Were your eyes closed the entire time? No, when we say this we are saying we understand. Understanding comes from something we have learnt and we learn when we are taught or do some form of research. Adam and Eve ate something that gave them knowledge. Which resulted in them being cursed.
Pay very close attention to what I bolded. The LORD asked "who" he did not say what. Adam could only have learnt he was naked if someone told him he was naked because the LORD never told him he was naked. Last time I checked apples don't talk (nor any fruit and if it did we wouldn't need schools). The LORD was literally telling Adam to not talk to that Devil because he is liar and you will die for believing a liar, that's why the number one thing the bible warns about is false prophets. The tree of knowledge of good evil was none other than Satan himself, he was all up in Eve ears lying but a good liar always tell you some truth otherwise the lie won't sound believable. Of course I want to end this thread here but I'm going to have to prove what it is I'm saying.
Life is on the Lord's tongue and death is on Satan tongue. Only Jesus has the words of eternal life that's what Adam and Eve needed to eat.
Notice how his followers were thinking fleshly just like how everyday people think when they assume Adam and Eve ate an apple even though the word apple never appeared in Genesis. Once Jesus realized they didn't understand he simply told them his words will give eternal life. In other words he is the only one who can teach us how to live forever and it's crazy because everyone hates getting old and dying but don't nobody wants to come to Jesus and get eternal life.
This should have been Adam and Eve's choice in the Garden of Eden but they ate Satan’s word instead. We have the opportunity to eat God’s words. All we need to do is read and believe what we read.
It's interesting how God told Ezekiel to open his mouth. The LORD is trying to teach us something here because every time we see the word "eat" we think of our bellies.
How do you eat a book? You read it! You consume more with your eyes and ears than you will ever consume with your mouth.
Now John is asked to eat the book and it will be sweet but bitter in your belly because don't nobody want to hear you talk about what's written in the bible.
Jeremiah ate God's word. Anyone who reads the bible and believe are people who eat God's word. It's funny how people are upset at Adam and Eve decision when we are all doing the same thing that they did. consuming a bunch of lies, this is what Adam and Eve ate in the garden of Eden.
So Adam and Eve chose to let Satan be their teacher; Israel did the same thing and so is the whole world and as a result we lost their access to the Tree of Life. Satan told Eve you shall not surely die and the graves are literally full. It's obvious that Satan lied but even to this day we refuse to believe the LORD.
You remember that serpent that pulled up on Eve in the Garden? Yea, that was Satan, not a literally Serpent, snakes don't talk.
The bible says Satan deceived the whole world not some, the whole world.
Hopefully this makes sense to anyone, who read it.

4 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
3 For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
8 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

2 And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.

10 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
The bible says Satan deceived the whole world not some, the whole world.
Hopefully this makes sense to anyone, who read it.
