ICE does not solely enforce immigration law. They have jurisdiction over enforcing some 400 federal codes. They can investigate anything from drug trafficking, sex trafficking, fraud, etc.
The administration just chooses to have them focus on targeting undocumented folk who pose no real threat to society.
Is it? ICE is a law enforcement agency. Disbanding it completely will be very unpopular with a lot of folk who want security and all. It’s also unnecessary and tbh is more of a political statement than a functional policy.
Just pass a law which bans ICE immigration raids. ICE can still apprehend and deport criminals at courthouses. But they don’t need to be prowling the streets looking for anyone they deem to be “illegal”.

Some discussions can get heated pretty fast. People have different opinions about a lot of things and most of them can't deal with different opinions. They're just not used to it irl I suppose.
I personally have no issues when people call for guillotine for politicians because some of them clearly deserve it (Sarkozy the traitor for example) but I guess it's still against the rules.
