i wonder how they're gonna do water luffy lol

prolly gonna cut it i guess
That's season 3 lol

But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how they bring those cartoony scenes to live action

The unluckies are packing heat wtf

It's weird to see a version of this story with characters actually dying. Robin is gonna have an insane kill count before she joins the Straw Hats
Some scenes look good, and other not so much. But still, doesn't look embarrassing which is really my bar for this season lol
hey so long the zoro scenes are....decent
it's fine for me :kuzanshut:
No worries there, they will never take shortcuts with Mackenyu.

Kizaruber Eats

Will this world give us back what we're dying for?

:gonope: Clam Shells

:goyea: Gatling Gun
I'm genuinely in shock, this looks so fucking good, I can't believe it. They nailed the Unluckies, Laboon, Crocus, Robin's powers and outfit, Chopper (his voice and base form at least anyway) when it easily could have gone wrong/been done badly or just suffered due to budget or w/e but this is fantastic, it looks so promising.

Seeing Robin using her DF and it looking so "natural" along with the flower petals and one of her arms making a Marine shoot himself with his own gun were fucking peak and I kinda like the live action is more brutal like this. Makes it feel more like a pirate series and not the usual issue of people not dying from gunshots/stabs and sword wounds/fire etc in anime. But now I'm wondering how brutal shit is gonna get when we get the likes of Crocodile dehydrating people, Ace and Akainu burning/melting people down, Crocodile impaling Luffy with his hook, Robin snapping backs and breaking Tashigi's leg IIRC?

Fuck man. It's like One Piece has kinda grown up and rebooted itself to reflect that. Zoro actually chopped up the former Mr 7 and yet he doesn't do that to anybody else so far. MFer really cut up a black guy as his only kill.....

:lusalty::shocked::risitameh::lawsigh:

The trailer and music are fucking great. Costumes, sets/scenery, special effects etc. I cannot fucking wait, I'm so fucking excited.

One Piece LA Season 2, Invincible Season 4, The Boys Season 5/Finale and eventually the new Avengers film at the end of this year pretty much. What a year to look forward to genuinely, despite all the shittiness going on in the world atm and how uncertain and terrifiyng our futures are becoming rapidly.

It's like a dream come true. A completely new interpretation of the story yet, faithfull to the core. It's an amazing time for OP. I hope they will at least be able to reach enies Lobby. Even tho I have doubts lol

The most exciting part of seeing new DF powers in the live-action show is seeing the creative ways they can be used to kill people. Robin just walking through a marine base full of soldiers and snapping their necks, slitting throats with their own swords and shooting them with their own guns is an amazing visual.

We're totally gonna see Crocodile dehydrate someone into a mummy and they're not just gonna bounce back from getting water splashed on them

It's funny because the OPLA creates its strenght from One Piece's weaknesses and while One Piece is still shining through the weaknesses of this adaptations.

(Especially concerning the more serious and consequential tone > death happens for real)

Both are narratively complementary. I find that really fascinating.
