Meruem and the ants are the exception here, we´re talking humans. Among the humans, Ging has some of the best hype, is considered top 5 nen users, meeting him was Gon´s entire goal, is clearly connected to/related to a man living on the DC.....

Oh yeah, and Togashi has literally made another manga, where the main characters father is top 1. Lol

I am not denying this. I think ging is closer to chrollo/zeno/silva than to someone like netero.
