Might mean Loki accidentally stumbled upon how to kill the HK. Sometimes it is pure luck/right counter measure like Luffy vs Crocodile or Enel.
Or that Gaban didn't expect anyone in the world except perhaps WB, Kaido etc being on a level to kill a HK. All of a sudden a 0 bounty kid/teen Loki does something that only the 10 strongest in the world should be able to.

Do you seriously think that Shanks who meets up with Gaban to talk about everything won’t tell him about the Nike awakening and the boy he passed on his straw hat too?
We already know that Shanks met up with Gaban while the Egghead events were going on so he coulda easily told him to wait for someone with a straw hat and the awakening lol

The WG should know about loki he was on the sea for years .
Hell it seem shanks capturing him is what even made him a yonko.
The WG wanted him to become a HK so they could control him like harald .
You really think after he get that mark he would have gotten free will .
Imu was going to what he did harald all over again which is why he doing now with DR .
Them being racist as fuck did not stop Imu from making harald a HK to try and control him and that is what would happen with loki .
Also if anything gunko was one that seem angry he did not want to be a HK shamrock seem indifferent mostly

Have you read the recent chapters, mate? Kaido is closer to Yamato than he is to Loki. Loki’s doing feats that‘s even shocking Gaban, and even Imu lol. A nerfed Loki is also about to get feats against Imu directly, a feat that 6 legends couldn’t do in God Valley. Imu won’t even give Kaido the time of day, that guy is absolute fodder to him.
