Gaban is in his 60s here, and 34 year old Roger was called young by Oda. 25 year old Shanks is a rookie. He didn’t even have a 1B bounty yet

You guys are still wondering how Shanks could defeat Loki in the future, knowing he has the greatest feat of conqueror after Joyboy.

Oda will never portray Shanks badly he's one of his favorites, he's there since chapter 1. Powerscaling and agenda cloud your logic

They don't get it. Shanks haki was compared to Joyboy (a legendary figure), and yes although for Dory and Brogi was probably a little weaker. They compared Joyboy conqueror haki, to Shanks only. This alone should already prove how strong Shanks is.

Other than that, we still did not see much of prime Shanks fighting. With Harald he was young and still, with Gyaban, they were able to hold Harald powered up by Imu.

We then saw Shanks absolutely destroying Kidd (poor guy even though he was going to kill a lot of people, I kinda miss him. Wish to see him again). How someone in his right mind can't believe that a serious Shanks is a menace?
