Makes you wonder why Gaban thought Loki stood a better chance than both him and Shanks then.
Based on what I'm seeing this is all new to Gaban, he didn't even expect Loki to kill Harald, neither did Shanks.
Regardless though at the very least Loki should be > Harald now. There's no point to Oda dropping so many points in his favour like this otherwise.
The reason this is so shocking is because it's literally a Prime WB lvl guy walking around with immortality. That's basically what Gaban and Imu are emphasizing, and why this was so shocking. Someone already at the top of the verse, gaining a buff and immortality should not be losing.

You have people like wb running as wsm or koido claiming no one can beat him while they got their ass clapped by imu lol diffing them and the pirate king not able to kill saint summers or being powerless against a hk with Adcoc.

There's zero surprise for me either, Harald was portrayed to be ~ Xebec who is a solid candidate for strongest pirate of the old gen. Of couse his boosted version would be above any of them but some people (yonko fans) tried to convince themselves that Harald was actually much weaker than Xebec and that all his portrayal was "fake"
