Lolda had teenage WBPs go even with the Prime Roger Pirates. Consistency stopped being a thing long ago
That's the power of Polo Gram :Haku_Shovel:
Idk how yall so confident statements and feats from pre timeskip means nothing anymore yall keep latching on to them.
Not saying shanks>loki but saying it’s impossible or shanks isn’t nowhere near Loki won’t end well.
Shanks just doesn't have that type of portrayal. Nothing I can do for him

Yes, if he's really as strong as Loki stans think, he should wipe them out easily and they shouldn't even be able to cause more than superficial damage.

He also seemingly has great observation haki that is always active.
Being strong doesn't mean being invulnerable.

Even Imu hasn't felt Sabo's presence, and I have already quoted various other cases of far weaker characters, even cheapshotting or taking by surprise FS users.

oda himself thinks you can start reading from wano onwards.
I don't think this was meant to be taken seriously though, he just meant that after Wano we're getting into the real meat and potatoes of the series
But I don't know if he meant it as "You can just skip the entire manga up to that point if you want". You still need to know several things to understand how we got here and where we'll go from here

Doesn't say but by his hype and shanks being willing to fight with gaban against king herald. I wouldn't put it past shanks to have used his crew to win. It's just like saying luffy beat kiado but ignoring the massive amount of help he got. At the end of the day luffy won but it wasn't solely by him alone.
lol what does shanks willingness have to do wih "shanks jumping" Loki with his crew?

so loki also got massive amounts of help from gaban and shanks and harald himself....

Or did he "defeat" him just like Luffy "defeated" Kaido, meaning Loki basically got jumped.

On one hand Oda really loves glazing Shanks, on the other hand it is hard to believe given what we saw on the castle. Loki became much stronger than Shanks during that incident and that's a fact.

Assuming that since then Lokis power level remained stagnant, Shanks must have gotten at least 5x stronger in order to beat him.
Now that Loki beaten Harald himself, i don't think Shanks soloed him. As much as Oda glazed Shanks of being The Child of Destiny or Destiny's Child whatever that is, he couldn't beat someone stronger than Xebec without help or special restriction placed at Loki. Loki is an absolute beast.

Loki still has room to grow, nothing wrong with him losing to Prime Shanks

We just saw visible cracks in Shanks’ armor this chapter, he looks weaker than he ever has. Helpless, and literally carried by Loki. That alone makes me think Oda is not going to go crazy with Shanks wank. He is not suddenly going to have Shanks beat a world ending threat that was carrying him just a few years prior. Mind you that this was already an aCoC-wielding Shanks who was known for his legendary duels with Mihawk.

If anything, Shanks may have challenged Loki in something like a Davy Back, maybe to try and break the chains with strength alone, similar to the real myth with Fenrir. Fenrir was the one who ripped off Tyr’s arm, and the resemblance here is honestly uncanny. Oda very clearly took inspiration from that Norse lore.
