To me Ranta looks like a discount version of Inu. Same power(-ish), but applied to a different sense.

I disagree. It's easier to cast but you have to actively maintain it. The trade off could be that it is stronger but you can't blink or take off your gaze from the target.
Cursed Speech you only cast and it either works or doesn't.

We literally don't know the first thing about his CT? As I said in my first post in the thread.

It’s not only a stopping power but also a crushing power

The floor under Maki seemed to be destroyed, like if a big gravity push was pressuring her
