Give it up, Bumsopp's not doing jackshit in this arc besides creaming his pants from glazing "MUH ELBAFO GIANTS!!"
The matchups have already been set in stone, and just like Wano and EH, its another Monster Trio-only battle where the rest of the SHs do nothing but run around because they don't have Haki and Oda REFUSES to give it to them despite being in Final Saga.

Oda is a pussy and will never draw Luffy fighting and beating a non-ugly woman with his fists, he will always chicken out at the end and invent some bullshit to prevent it from happening (i.e Boa falling in love or Uta summoning Tot Musica)

Don't worry, he doesn't need to fight Gunko himself. Brook will break her out of Imu's control, who then ends up possessing someone else in the arc (male) for Luffy and Loki to have a serious 2v1 fight with.

He did hold off Lucci who could have dipped as well with his much superior speed but Zoro taunted him/played on Luccis pride so he stayed instead of rationally killing the rest.
Zoros fighting style is not made for stalling but rather 1HKO so any stalling depends on factors like the opponent underestimating him (Lucci, Monet) rather than him actually restricting their movement.
Now for Dorry and Brogy he could just slice them up without AdCoC all day I suppose but that would tax his stamina. And he also doesn't want to kill them. So question is what he can do, ironically Mr3 is much more suited to holding people off due to the nature of his powers.
Way back in the day, years before the HK were introduced, I had a theory of Luffy managing to recruit someone from every faction in the world. Breaking Gunko free from Imus terror would also come with the price of who is responsible for her security, same scenario as Robin and in a sense Franky as neither could live freely anymore without being under Luffys protection. Gunko would otherwise be hunted down and returned to Mariejois or killed within 7 days so I suppose it could become a surprise addition to the crew.
