Outskill can have more than one meaning anyway, greater skill in utilisation of haki and in combat, such as ones swordsmanship/combat style being greater

Stronger swordsman =/= stronger
Shanks is more often portrayed as stronger even when Mihawk is WSS
It will never change, just like your hobby to derail threads

As I said, Powercaling is thrown into a corner after Loki reveal.

One of the two things can happen,
- Either shanks tricked Loki into submission and captured him. And Loki is as strong as we all consider him to be.

Or

- roger vs Whitebeard case alltogether again, Roger only has Haki to his side, whereas Whitebeard along with Haki on equal terms with Roger has Gura Gura no mi, practically the strongest Paramacia type. Maths doesn't add up between them. I personally do believe whitebeard was stronger but it was an extreme none the less.

Doesn't make sense as if fruit doesn't exist in the equation.

Roger most likely had the strongest Haki of his time, that's kaidou said Haki transcends all, Looking at broken gear 5. Roger came to top with just haki.

And guess who is randomly throwing his coc on admiral faces in one piece? SHANKS!

loki Haki though, I don't see it anywhere close to Shanks.

I don’t think even Oda is that stupid to have shanks defeat Loki,powerscaling is completely useless if shanks beats the guy that is beating imu this arc while nerfed.Idc if shanks was compared to base joyboy haki wise if he’s genuinely mid diffing Loki then he dog walks anyone in verse.

If Shanks beat loki it simply means he is that strong. It doesn't negate where loki is placed. Oda went on his way to portray harald and Xebec on same level and even given them similar power boost. Xebec himself was placed on same level as Roger and garp.

Loki clapped harald and dominated him so hard it cut his connection to imu. Then perma killed a regen user which even Roger pirates could not.

It's hard to say

Side A,
Loki is being confident about crushing any pirate crew as he talk to Luffy.
If Shanks already beat his ass in fair 1v1, he shouldn't talk like that unless he's stupidly arrogant.

Side B,
Shanks is Oda golden boy and the fact that we don't see how Shanks "take down" Loki right now when Loki hype is going strong makes a room for the possibility of Shanks actually beating Loki fairly.....which may reveal during Shanks focus arc in near future to hype him up even further

But nonetheless, Loki seems to still developing, still kinda amateur and doesn't reach his full potential.
It would not be impossible to believe Shanks 1v1 him that time.
Even if you're stronger you could still lose if you're immature and arrogant.

You know what i mean lol Yasopp is the best sniper, but Benn Beckmann is stronger. Mihawk who is emphasized to be "better than Shanks in swordsmanship" is not necessarily the stronger one overall.

But since i'm prone to reacting to you in derailing threads, i'll follow it by saying that both are weaker than Loki still.
