Man, Return of the Jedi is such a meh film if you discount the throne room scenes + the DSII space battle. Ford is wasted and no longer gives a crap. The reuse of the Death Star is lazy. The Leia twist is downright bad, a cheap attempt to one-up the Luke / Vader twist for no good reason. And the cinematography goes through a huge downgrade when compared to ESB, it's honestly sad.

Enjoyed it immensely growing up, but with time it's difficult not to recognize it as the weakest film of the OG trilogy by far.
