He didn’t beat Luffy the same guy who was restarting his heart against Kaido to keep fighting after g5 run out. Lizaru was trash Loda wanted to get rid of he gave him some sob story and called it a day.

Luffy didn’t have a single attack that could do shit to Kizaru

Only attack that can do anything to Kizaru is Bajrang Gun which is way too slow and will get dodged

Nothing in g5 can take down Kizaru permanently. G5 will run out first and Kizaru will always be getting up first. G4 and the other gears are worthless to Kizaru.

Feeding your opponent after face tanking their best attack and getting above before them is a win. Especially when you’re mentally nerfed and have no killing intent

They genuinely thought Zoro would fight Kiz then fight fucking Shiryu in the next arcs lmfao.

Imo, Kizaru was the most solid character in the arc alonside Kuma. Kiz vs Luffy could have been better? Yes, but Oda choosed plot development over full fight. You can clearly see the downfall of EH arc when Saturn plus Gorosei take the main vilain role.

Some Zoro fans went from hyping up Kizaru to slandering him when the arc didn't go the way they were hoping for.

They truly believed Zoro would fight and defeat an Admiral right after the arc where Zoro defeated King.

And when the fight against Kizaru didn't happen, they moved on to Nusjuro, where some of them believed that Zoro would fight and defeat Nusjuro during the Egghead arc as well.
