Your job as fan of character is not to allow their stocks to drop especially in the case of Mihawk. We know he will cement himself as one of the very best once he is fleshed out later when his time comes. The mystery surrounding him makes him a lot of fun imo his origin how he rose to the top why only he could rival Ryuma.

Lol maybe I am simply bitter. He did have me excited during his intro but the agenda wars and all made me hate him and now I am too disconnected from the story to feel that way again

Wano introduced 10s of different characters.
