i think you forget that Sukuna wasnt fully confident in his own abilities alone bypassing infinity or at least he needed his true form for worst case scenario once again if you want to quote and use manga, sukuna literally states he had to be "nerfed or "holding back" in order to actually bypass infinity - high risk/high reward. heres the thing in order to actually bypass infinity Sukuna COULD NOT use Heian era form even then he would've never bypassed infinity nor would have fuga been effective against gojo, Mahoraga and 10s was just one part of sukunas conditions needed to bypass infinity but Megumis own soul/body was literally needed in order for him to not be hindered by IV - you saw what one split second of IV did to sukuna and its long lasting effects, he also couldnt have utilized heian era as best as he could have as a vessel cause megumi wouldve interfered.. heian era form sukuna would not be able to utilize 10s the same way nor would he have been able to adapt to limitless without the conditions that he used in the manga.
