Really enjoyed ep 1.

It was a bit hard to try to remember everything but all good I think.

The animation for S2 will be way better than S1 I believe as the production line was probably able to focus on this project only. Back on S1 the focus was split between this series and AoT.

Yup, I was gasing the manga and hzping up season 1 before its release. The opening was a banger and the season was good (and at moments great) but not really as good as the trailer made it look imo. I hope season 2 delivers.

I enjoyed S1 quite a bit tbh

I read the manga prior to its release as well but I feel like it mostly delivered especially in the latter half

Gabimaru vs the first Tensen he met was great imo. One of my favorite scenes from any anime that season

Tenza’s death was brutal, and my goat Shion… where do I even begin

The fight at the very end against the Tensen that could fly was absolutely amazing. I already loved Shion in the manga but the fight on top of the voice acting elevated it to a new level

Thankfully the reception for S1 was pretty good. Only problem is it was kinda handled similar to Sakamoto Days where all of the top tier animation came in the latter half of the first season

Harder to hook an audience that way. Still worked out since it’s considered one of the frontliners for this spring anime season

Also managed to put quite a few people onto it and the last episode solidified their interest in the series. Some of them watched the newest episode before I did lol

Season 1 suffered from being released at the same tine as Chainsawman Season 1 abd Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. All three done by Mappa lmao

ep 4 was great, Shugen and the ninja just joined the island, kinda want to reread manga to remember what happened lol
