I understand the hopium tbh
But Kidd coming back now has a very low chance of happening cause it's just too late. And if I'm being honest I'm not entirely sure why so many Kidd fans want him to come back right now anyway
Kidd's return will likely involve gathering the living members of his crew, building a new ship, and essentially getting a fresh start as a pirate. There's really no time for that in Elbaf
Admittedly it could've worked if Oda set up the beginning of his journey as soon as Elbaf started. Unfortunately we're already here fighting Imu so there's really no time for a dedicated Kidd plot line
Which kinda sucks because Elbaf does feel like the perfect place for it on paper. Surrounded by enemies, an actual adventure in the land of giants (since they have 0 info on the island), and they also just so happen to be in the perfect location for ship building due to the great materials
