kaido dragon first appearance was menacing as fuck lol. people were hyped as fuck back then. there was no discussion about it being goofy at all.

Like, we don't have to rewrite history to make loki look good. He's still massively above kaido in terms of strength. But all this excessive wank is just too much.

So a tongue sticking out is goofy lol? I’m talking about the design itself, Kaido’s dragon is memorable but the face is definitely more cartoonish than this.

Not so goofy, it has some aura, the horns pattern are much better, and the face is much more Dragon-ish than Loki's surprisingly, which looks like a Wolf's face.

But well, I will wait for other Panela, sometimes Oda go completely retarded in some panels, or most of them.

Loki is unlucky that he was introduced after wano. Wano act 2 onwards is where oda went full retard with the designs and colors
