Obviously window licking rotted your brain, because I'm not discussing Mihawk's power/capabilities. But the way he's depicted in the story is NOTHING comparable to how Ricardo is portrayed in HnI.

Oda showed us the difference between their strength by Mihawk's ability to fight Vista while focus on Luffy without being hit by an attack. No other character in the manga has shown the capable of fighting a YC in battle while completely distracted without being hit.

The general rule with One Piece is: Bad guys can kill characters but not the good guys. That holds true even in flashbacks. I think the only character in the whole of one piece that you could argue was killed by the good guys was Kanjuro and even then technically he died because of a suicide attack.
