On the cover page, we see Roger tame a T-Rex! Pretty cool! But, it does kind of raise a question. Is this Roger on Little Garden, or is that someone with the T-Rex Zoan Fruit? Given the jungle look of the island, it's probably Little Garden, but still. So...Roger had a pet T-Rex! That's...new information! Does this confirm what his Giant Egg was? Was Roger breeding and raising dinosaurs like Pokemon? Probably not. But, it's something to keep in mind.
Huh. You know, I didn't even think about the Sea Clouds getting blown away, too, last chapter. Those kids are gonna die!
"Lord Imu's in there right now, not her!" That's...a weird way to put that. So casual. Like Gunko is basically a bathroom, or something.
And...Sommers is enjoying this WAY too much. He likes what he likes. I hope he likes it as much when it happens to him. Because if anyone's dying in this arc, it's probably going to be him.
The Giant Kids mentioning "Divine Punishment" is kind of interesting. Oda's planting something with that line. Probably something that happened with the 4 Gods back during the First World. But, we'll see. Given "Inherited Will" and Devil Fruits having some level of intelligence, some force judging their actions could actually be true, in this world.
"The Sun God pays special attention to naughty kids, you know." Now, that can be taken a completely different way. Given that the Strawhats are all kind of "seemingly villainous" in their own ways. Nami's a thief, Usopp's a liar, Sanji's from a family of supervillains, etc. Maybe the Sun God actually drafted "naughty kids" into his crew, back in the day? Nika might have thought they were funny. Or it could just be a reference to how Luffy is going around defeating villains on different islands. Nika could have done something similar. But, this could go a few different ways.
RIPLEY! This arc has a lot of good moms!
Ronja gets the praise she deserves! She's a trooper...who's about to be a para-trooper!
"I don't mind being scary" That's kind of a scary thing to say. She's kind of into it!
And Ange is there for little-giant orphan Johanna! Okay...I'll admit it...I was 110% wrong about Ange! Ange is a good person! I was suspecting her of maybe being some sort of secret Government plant. But, there's NO WAY that's happening now.
This entire scene is just really touching! This was a good moment.
Good thing they all get saved by falling on Luffy's fat tummy. A new "attack"! Gum-Gum Rice Cracker Belly! It's basically just a variant of Gum-Gum Balloon, but still, nice quick thinking on Luffy's part.
"I'm the Great Destroyer! I'm not responsible for anybody's safety!" Me thinks Loki doth protest too much. Also...this line feels like it's here to be ironic on a number of levels. I think we'll be looking back on this line, later. Especially if this turns out to be one of the God Fruits with a previous incarnation during the First World.
It starts snowing. I'm guessing that's part of Loki's powers at work. Snow, thunder...I'm guessing he can control storms? Maybe this is Loki's version of the Drums of Liberation? Kind of like how Luffy can make the world "dance" with his power? Maybe Loki being able to create storms is just a environmental effect of this Devil Fruit?
Gear 5 Luffy riding Dragon-Loki! The Nidhoggr is REAL! This is a great double-page spread! Gotta love how all the Nightmares are just no match for this thing. And Imu's about to see them both. So, if Imu is going to retreat, it's going to be pretty soon. Either we're just starting a big battle. Or this is basically the end of Elbaph. I guess we'll see in two weeks, after the break. *SIGH*.
I will say though, Loki's Dragon form does look a little strange. Cool! But, strange. It's all black, which feels like it implies that Loki is totally covered in Haki. And it's got flaming eyes, which we've never seen on a Dragon of any kind before. Also...no pupils. I don't know. It feels like this "Dragon" isn't totally "real" to me? Personally, I'm still wondering if Loki could be made of Legos? We never did explain the Legos that Road had. Hopefully, Oda fully reveals the name of Loki's Fruit next chapter.
