I dweeb for saying you don't understand what the panel suppose to show lmao .
The panel is suppose to show the effect of gear 5 and chaos it causing on the island.
The issues is not Oda art the issues is Oda don't want to spend panel and page space on stuff that he should .
The issues with OP for years now is Oda trying to put to much into a chapter which fuck up how his art and panelling looks.
No amount of people helping him or AI going change shit when this is how want to use his page and panel space .
It fucking sucks but that has what OP has been for well over decade now .
Oda panelling get so bad you could not even tell what happen with Zoro chapters ago because he trying put to much in the page.

Blud drew a cow with wings, painted it black, and thought we wouldn't notice. He got too comfortable drawing Killingham's monsters and gave Loki the same treatment.

Oda is beyond washed at every facet of making a manga, it's official. There isn't a single thing he does that is passable...we're cooked.

Yeah digital art stuff is kinda inescapable, wish we got flying cars and moonbases first but what can you do lol.
I do traditional (kind of stopped for a while due to time constraint/laziness) pen and pencil stuff so tbh I'm not as affected as professional artists fortunately.
Hope your friend is doing fine in his field with all the AI, I'm in customer support and the top banana of our company is pretty keen on the stuff so I gotta beef up on it too.

preTS also suffered from bloat but at least back then Oda was not trying to gaslight the reader that fodder were strong so they were either dealt in 1 chapter by being punching bags like Zoro vs boroque works. Arcs lasted like 60 chapters tops.
but current Oda is trying to gaslight readers that FODDERS are massive threat to such great lengths that fodder are a focus of the arc or even SAGAS:
-whole postTS saga has been trying hype up fukcing 500 gifters fodders as a massive threat that would allow kaido to conquer the world...like LMAO
-whole cake is impossible to escape because fodder surrounding it
-Elabf is currently being attacked by dream monsters and oda is trying to claim these shits are strong instead of being 1 shot material
I have no idea why this fuckass hack is stretching the manga by bloating it with irrelevent fodder and trying his hardest to die by not finishing the series.
I think it started back in marineford where the sales were at its highest, it gave him the illusion that he did everything right and he's now trying to bloat every arc with fodder to create illusion of war and tension
but the retard failed to understand that people read that arc not because of whitebeard's commander #3548 that can take out hammer out of his chin, but because strong characters are finally being shown fighting and doing shit.

Yeah Im basically forced to deal with that stuff on my job as a district railway manager. The higher ups that have no clue want ai every way and full automation but that shit is impossible in such a field. The reason why stuff like coding, art and so on are the most under pressure is because ai Most common problems, like hallucinating or producing slop and stuff doesn't matter that much you can try it again in a controlled environment or if some doctor automated there appointment through a hotline with AI someone who's voice not getting recognized is at worst a lost customer
Any field with actual risks is I think basically unsolvable in the near future because of legal alone. "Oh yeah the AI hallucinated and collided two trains btw." I don't even know what the fuck would happen there especially in the EU probably mass ban of ai in that field lmao

You have to learn how to differentiate between routine scribble panels and impactful panels. This isn't just some run of the mill moment. This is a once a year type of moment, Oda usually still managed to muster something up even if it was lower than preskip standards. This was a new low for sure, the panel leading up to the design reveal is very telling. With the island shaking, lightning and snow.
Oda has nothing left, this is the only thing I would say Current Oda still had which was above average. He knew how to drop the reveal panels, but yea that's gone too now it seems.
