I got this old collection of short stories and exerpts my mom and uncle owned, and I'm rereading it.

It has stuff like the Red Room, The Horla, some selected chapters from Three Musketeers, War of The Worlds, Portrait of Dorian Gray etc.

Pretty nostalgic to me, it's been years since I first read it.

Before that the last book I read was a Matrix parody called the McAtrix Derided.

Reading "Needful Things" by Stephen King. The first half is kinda slow but its really picking up now in the second half. Will probably read either "Fevre Dream" by GRRM next or might go with the new "The Devils" by Joe abercombe

I only have a few small problems with it, other than that it's really great novel, the MC always remains true and consistent to his character and the story of Renzu is actually a Masterpiece, the story of Renzu is actually so good I can't imagine how the author came up with it, it's just amazing
after finishing it, I searched and people recommended Warlock of the Magus world,.... some even claim it being better that RI... but what they said is absolutely rubbish, it can't be compared to RI... WMW is a cheap copy of RI with the author seems wayyy less eloquent, it's like a teenager compared to Author of RI
if RI is 9 out of 10, then WMW (I've read 800+ chapters and I'm thinking of stop reading it) is like 6-6.5

It's insane and I love it. The problem with WMW is that Renzu is limited when compared to RI. He doesn't have as much freedom as he had with RI

I had a weird "gotta read all those Isekai" phase, read so many of them my brain got cooked and now I can barely distinguish what was what. To me, The Trash of Count's Family stood out, although I need to pick up the novel now as bato.to died. RIP bato, and if anyone knows if there's a new incarnation of the site, plz DM me.
Also, Greatest Estate Developer was hilarious.

As for books, I've got a couple self-improvement books I am slowly trying to get through, and also SILO what I wanted to read after watching the series, but it doesn't engage me as much as I expected, so I put it on hold for now. I am also trying to write something on my own, damn it's hard to make it look good. Mad respect to the actual authors.
