I think this is just a side effect of the manga going on so long. It’s like how people think shirahoshis power is fodder despite being called ancient weapon level

The Shirahoshi one is just common sense tbh idk how people couldn't see that lol

Individual Sea Kings are fodder and that'll never change but one or two sea kings have never been said to move the needle. She can control all of them and for all we know there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of them in the One Piece world

She could sink every island into the sea if she wanted to

Yeah but people have a hard time accepting that narrative when we see people like momonga low diffing Seakings. That’s what I mean of fandom perception vs odas intention.

Oda wants us to believe the power of Poseidon is one of the three greatest weapons in the verse, but because characters who are one shot material to franky can beat Seakings people downplay it.

She’s still effectively fodder though, Shirahoshi’s not winning a fight against any strong character. If they can see her, she’s fucking dead. Imagine someone like Law is tasked to take her out, it’d be child’s play. Teleport in and she’d be dead in 10 seconds.
