you think this guy is a good town player but his scum reads are myself and Watson and he town reads polar for inane reasons. since you are now scum reading polar (and looking favorably on watson) can you tell me why you're shielding the supposed good town player given what he's offered thus far has been opposite to yours except his read of me?

every time someone makes this statement it ends up protecting a good player as scum. think about it. if they are a good player and are town they will be visibly town enough to the point where the statement is not needed. the fact that the statement was needed means something is wrong and they are not visibly townie as they can be, so all we are doing is extending them a one way ticket to day 2 that they have no earned. and since they are a good player they'll just gladly accept the ticket and rekt you later.

no matter how u look at it, this is 100% a clique type read. that's part of what ratchet was talking about. "i like this player so won't lynch him". i fume every time i see this

and to reiterate, im not talking about the accuracy of the reads or whatever. ive made millions of inaccurate reads in games. i just hate the attitude of not wanting to talk when someone asks you to elaborate your worldview, or not wanting to work with your scum read to see if you can find middle ground. I don't even care if we are both wrong, at least we tried to work together

there are players that definitely feel alienated from "the pack", and sadly this game only made me realize i may be one of them. only few townies really wanted to talk with me and work something out. meanwhile we have players barely doing anything that are getting town read or even followed for just breathing and shit talking. it's not fair nor fun environment to play in. it became boring super quick. randing scum here is 100% a chore because what the heck i barely escaped lynch with my life as town, you think i can do that as scum? certainly not unless i have a strong team to bail me out like this one.

He presents 4 wrong reads as his scum reads, I ask him to evidence why he reads them this way, he responds with the above, locks his vote on me, and refuses to talk further.

All I know is people on this site have Napoleon and "Main Character complex" quite heavily. It's ok to say you played bad or made a stupid decision or whatever. Like Jesus Christ I thought MU was toxic, but this place takes the cake with players who think they're better then how they actually play and actually are. This game everyone tried, you cant blame towns loss on a specific player. Mafia just played better that is all.

Even Bitter who is a new player tried to fight off his lynch over what was an NAI thing but he was against seasoned scum players and towns morale was down after the census so there wasn’t much he could do.
