Controversial Why Do People Think Usopp is weak

I've seen Usopp get slandered left and right but why? why do so many people think he's weak he's easily top 3 snipers in the series and if we're going based on feats band for band, he's arguably top one

And Sniping is his main fighting style people are downplaying usopp for getting his ass kicked, when front line fighting isn't his bread and butter, no one calls Luffy weak for not knowing how to use a sword, no one calls Zoro weak for not being able to shoot

out of all the straw hats Usopp is the only one with a legit arguement for being best/strongest in his field

He's not a frontline fighter tho and was'nt meant to be he's one of the strongest in his field that's like saying Lebron James is trash because he sucks at Soccer even Tho he's arguably top 1 in basketball

Because Oda has sidelined Usopp since Dressrosa.

When Haki or whoever is physically stronger, or in this case, who has more hax, can best Usopp's trickery and sniping ability.

It also Oda fault for not letting Usopp get better gadgets or a Df that his plant like weapon can eat to get him a boost in strenght like Nami with Zeus.

Because he is and Oda instead of developing him and giving him some cool feats gives this time to scabbards, BM nonsense plot, Luffy, random giants and anyone else but him.

I legit forget he exists sometimes. Nami is also physically weak, but at least she's more present in the story and gets Zeus and awesome moments like her being ready to die but not betray her faith in Luffy.

Usopp doesn't get even that. Last time I really enjoyed his fight was the one against Perona. That was damn cool.

Even Sanji gets more love that Usopp. And Sanji is one of Oda's favorite butt-monkeys.
