Imo, betting on Usopp vs Killingham is like betting on Brazil winning a World Cup in the next 50 years, lowkey dumbass
It's amazing that Tesla Supplier cooked up a theory worse then ZKK. We're truly seeing the "great" minds of the world at work here.

anyway, anyone who thinks Usopp will ever reach Vergo level needs professional help.

It not that important, usopp is already a top 5 sniper pre timeskip because Oda never made sniping a focal point in the story. Unlike Zoro's goal of being the best swordsman and the countless swordsman in the story. There are people who use guns but to snipe oeople or object is rare in One Piece.

What Oda could be doing is aiding Usopp with better gadgets or have his plant like weapon eat a DF to aid him in battle like what Zeus does for Nami.

It might not be if you’re illiterate as fuck.

From surviving explosions to skull fractures, Usopp has repeatedly survived what would have killed weaklings. He’s much stronger than he is weak.

Get off my dick already, you keep begging for attention.
I understand where you're coming from but at some level Usopp is supposed to represent average, when Blackbeard is anything but that. And Blackbeards cowardly tendencies are very different from Usopps...

I think by the end of the story he'll be around YC2 level
Since he has to defeat Killingham then Van Augur
So he won't be "that" weak but not "that" strong in terms of EoS powerscaling
As for how this affects his character, it's not really something that matters for him. He doesn't need to be that strong, just brave enough to fight strong opponents.
How is Usopp gonna be Yc2? Can he keep up with Cracker, Jozu, Minks, Ace, Vista, etc, etc, etc?

Usopp aint a fighter in the first line, his main power comes from backup and he never really finishes an enemy.
