I watched both. To me, they're quite good, I probably liked the first one a little more than the second. However, I think I would benefit from learning more about mythology behind Ne Zha to appreciate it more fully. Also, these movies are targeted for younger audiences, so some humor might seem a little juvenile:)
Hi mate.
Oh good, finally someone here who knows Ne Zha.
Did you notice how Ne Zha did many things that western animation never did? The use of the concepts of epic fantasy, mythology and magic, the fights, battles and power systems, the excellence of the cast of characters, and the complexity of the story, are unprecedented in the history of animations, fiction and entertainment. How did you like it ?
China is on track to overtake the United States as a global superpower, and this applies to all aspects, including the entertainment industry. The Chinese animation style, donghua, is on the rise. It has similarities to the Japanese style, but the industry doesn't have the flaws that make much of anime/manga industry bad. There are videos on youtube talking about this novelty(I'll show two below.). I've only watched Ne Zha , but there seems to be a lot more good content out there. I need to find out where to watch it.
