Really aint seeing your point. You know both cases can exist simultaneously right? Imu can not domi reversi zoro or sanji or the other casts who don't live on elbar DIRECTLY. But once they come close proximity at an angle they can be domi revesied by the individuals already domi reverseied.

OR

Maybe zoro assumed that it would work on him since it worked on the other giants; not knowing that it would not work on him in the first place in this instance because he is NOT from elbaf

Yeah maybe, Imu makes demons but we haven't seen Imu's true form.. Did the Gorosei eat mythical devil fruits or obtained that power through Imu?..

Imu's devil fruit doesn't need to be a God if she already have a God under her control..

Nidhogg alone isn't a God fruit, it's just another mythical devil fruit.. How is it special..

I don't want to entertain Nika being a retcon somehow..

Because zoro does NOT know how it works. All he saw were other Giants (whom live in elbaf) walk in between domi reversi dorry and broggy and all of sudden also become domi reversi. So he ASSUMED it would be the same with him since again HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW THE ABILITY WORKS LOL.
