not going easy does not mean you using much of your Power, Kaido was not going easy on acoc base Luffy and was clearly serious but still was not using that much of his Power.
Zoro vs Lucci was serious, Zoro did not use much of his Power, Luffy vs Hody was serious but Luffy was not using much of his Power. you confuse the 2 things. Loki was serious in killing Harald he was not using much of his Power tho

Being serious =/ using Power
Sure as hell they were serious, I am saying that clash was clearly a High level usage of their Power, even if we fans could count 3 or 4 ways in which they could have done something more.
But Oda doesn't care: he draw them in "base", clashing, being super serious, even thought from a logical perspective they seemed almost to be joking.
