World's Strongest Swordsman
Dont know so far oda tied Mihawk to dracula themes visually and to marines in his backstory, seems both western themed vs eastern themed stuff
The yano territory wouldnt be mihawks backstory btw

It would be for the recent past ie after shanks lost an arm.

People slated mihawk for never going wano, which never made sense as kaido subjugated all of wano and there was no strong swordsman there

There being a more lawless swordsman island with no kaido and strong swordsmen fits far better.

I mean yes from the description wano 2.0 fits better than wano, im not arguing against that

My argument is more he has not visited that one too :luuh: Like i said i say no argument as so far with how oda is handling him he ties him more to western stuff

If we ever gonna see or hear what Mihawk did in the past (which might not be the case, we se did jack for wb and co either tbh so far in the grandscheme of things) i doubt it gonna be mihawk went to wano electric bogaloo version but more like his opponent/the place was western themed

Like i see more of connecting to God Knights alone from the visual than to any of this stuff

ngl alot of people exposing they cant read with nuance and/or are coping they got something wrong

"EHM WHY THE HELL WHY THEY SAY SHAMROCK WOULD COME UP THERE DOESNT HE LITTERARLY LIVE THERE????"

The gorosei are above the other CDs (see how they shat on garling)

This is like saying that the manager of a firm on a top floor never would say something like "its rare to see you here" or something to a clerk

Yeah the politics of the world is more of a concern for a yonko than a holy knight who just go on missions.

Oda was just baiting too hard, but it's nothing crazy. We did have people arguing Shanks had the evil twin for years.

If Oda wanted Shanks to talk to someone in the government, he would likely play it safe and have him meet with Fujitora or something. It is what it is.

Also good point we were shown more than once how shanks goes from place to place and trying to talk in and talk out things to people

He literally is arguably a character that is mostly involved with politics of the world and trying to influence and control things

Especially once it was confirmed the GKs live separately in their own land

I'm not saying he didn't write it in ambiguous way, obviously the purpose with how that scene was framed but claiming it's a retcon or it doesn't make reads, like I said, either like sour grapes or legit not able to read at a highschool level
