true, but getting haki requires a baseline of training and that takes effort. So while the power itself is lazy how characters get it isn't. It would require undermining characters like Luffy

Dawg, you do realize that even with his new powerup, Franky would probably still get low/mid diffed by Killingham right? Usopp would need to get a Super Saiyan level power up to even stand a chance

Let's be honest...you can just asspull unlock it mid situation/battle. Usopp did in dressrosa, Luffy did it with FS on WCI, Zoro did it with adCoC. The training can just come offpanel, Oda would just have to draw a fight/scene which would require Franky to unlock armament or something.

Well without haki you are capped below a certain lvl. He needs atleast basic haki, but like we already saw with Sandersonia or w.e her name was, hakiless Luffy was able to whoop their asses and they were using haki. Franky has tech so he's good against mid tiers. It's only the high tiers which become unbeatable unless you learn it, and any logia even the fodders are gonna be impossible to beat.

Idk why Oda is so autistic about giving the Fillerhats Haki. The only explanation I can think of is that Oda thinks it would be too unoriginal of a powerup, and he lowkey realizes that basic Haki is boring?
