I learn japanese as a hobby for a couple years reading manga/playing video games ( dragon quest is great for that btw.)

I was in a comiket one time during a business trip in japan and the amount of one piece fujo stuff was insane Dwarfs any zoro glazers wildest dreams the west cant compete

Japan actually doesn’t have the most points surprisingly

Asia does due to its population

Even with mail voting Asia had the most points in the last poll by a pretty wide margin. You have to remember that the 2 countries with the largest population by far both exist in Asia (China and India)

Luffy received 654k of his votes in the last poll from Asia (where he took 1st) while he received 477k of his votes from Japan (where he also took 1st, but only beat Zoro out by 8k votes in that region)
