My question is: Why is Bonney not helping? She's probably on par with Sanji or Jinbe and can definitely take on those MMAs especially with the Joygirl form...

Joygirl form doesn't last long nor is she on par with Sanji. Which means she definitely isn't on par with Jinbe, who is the weaker of the two.

Yeah I call him a Mary Sue for a reason, hes mister perfect and Oda loves him probably almost as much as he does Luffy.

Can't blame him, Shanks is cool and so is luffy

So far, every single Straw hat has gained a powerup except for Chopper and Ussop. Franky got such a massive power boost it's insane lol. It's sad that Ussop has always wanted to come to Elbaf but he's barely getting much spitlight though.

So far, every single Straw hat has gained a powerup except for Chopper and Ussop. Franky got such a massive power boost it's insane lol. It's sad that Ussop has always wanted to come to Elbaf but he's barely getting much spitlight though.

Actually Chopper got a hidden power up with the aid of Ceasar. Increase the time limit of monster point from 3 mins to 30 mins. But with a bigger side effect.

Meanwhile Usopp got CoO which Oda doesn't care about so far..

Maybe interesting for you 3 bozos as you guys love sommers:
I read a lot of posts here that say the last chapter of Sommers vines was handled by him getting punched last chapter. I re-read the chapter today, and not only are Sommers thorns still active, to free them sanji needed to still burn them away after he got punched by luffy:

So either he has DF abilities that doesnt vanish after he loses consciousness (as there is no consistency there) or he is still awake and kicking

He was still awake and talking after the kids got freed. The more I think about it, the more I convince myself CL⁴¹oda just wanted the kidnapped kids plotline to end asap and freed them. Because he can and he doesn't care it doesn't make any sense. Gaban also chopped Sommers into pieces and everybody was still trapped.

This or somehow Luffy turned the thorns into rubber from the distance by interacting with the DF user. A new awakening stage, let's call it entanglement
