How’s season 2

I watched only one episode for now, it is good. Not great, but good. There was some weak moments, but there was peak moments as well. Smoker, Baroque Works looks lit. Zoro scene with sword - good. Buggy was good, BUT whole execution scene could be better. It's not bad, tho. So first episode I would rate 8/10. But for Smoker only I will rate it as 8,5.
Smoker actually looks better than in manga and anime LOL and much stronger

Yeah, forgot to talk about the execution scene:
A HUUUUGE blunder was not using slow mo and focusing on the sword as Buggy was bringing it down. They rushed through it and Luffy looked pathetic as he said "I'm dead" as oposed to happy and content.

you know, oda has input. So maybe the breeze was never really from EastMan after all. It was a coincidence and he just took credit for it.

Maybe Dragon is weak as fuck and basically like buggy

I was about to say, Smoker's logia VFX looked really cool meanwhile Dragon got the fart fart fruit

Maybe this really is Oda's vision for the characters

So I watched 2 episode.

I have to say, Vivi is really beautiful. She doesn't give a feeling of some "message" actor, but actually good casting,
Overall, for me this way of dealing with things with Labun made much more sense than in the original manga,
Also, Brook is great casting as well.
It's still 8 of 10 for me.
ALSO I have to say this, why in all sea moments, they used CGI? This is my biggest complaint so far. In 1 season, there wasn't so much CGI in the sea scenes.

Episodes 2 and 3:
- I really get the Crocus choice (no belly island) but I'm still sad over it
- after seeing the inside of Crocus' hut I finally know what the lighting, set design and costumes remind me of - Lazy Town!
- Laboon was well done, positively surprised by that
- Whiskey Peak is ok, but I feel it could've been more
- Zoro vs 100 Bounty Hunters was ok, but again, the coreography and damage level leave a lot to be desired. I know yhis medium has its limits, but leave a slash or two on the walls or smt at least.
- Bald guy with giant mace - ridiculous how he swung it full force on a wooden floor and it did nothing lmaooo that's what I'm talking about. We say Goofy Piece but this is it tbh
- Mr 5 is spot on! Love the costume, casting and even DF powers. Explosions are easy to do ig

Buggy's actor is so damn good. The scene where he put Luffy on trial and played his lawyer was hilarious, it's kind of original material this adaptation could use more of.

It's shame we won't see Buggy in a significant capacity again until Impel Down which would be like season 7

Episode 4:
- Miss All Sunday is great so far
- Mr 3 is superb so far! I saw the actir in multiple projects so I knew he would deliver but this is really sticking out as a sore thumb in this show.
- Broggy's actor has great line delivery, Dorry's not so much (being kind here)
- the dinosaurs are pretty good honestly, way better than I expected
- they NEED a better director asap. Actors are standing around in the background like absolute noobs, totally not belonging to the scene.
- worst scene in this episode: Mr 5 giving the finger to Luffy from across a valley

OK, episode number three was LIT.
So far 9 of 10, and 10 of 10 episode for damn sure.

I have to say it: Ms. Valentine in the LA is the BEST cast, and peak character writing. She is absolutely crazy and insane. Robin is good, she doing what she has to do. But Ms. Valentine is something like crazy kudere who loves to kill people, but acts cute with cuty voice.

Usopp and Sanji getting paired off during episode 2 reminded me that these two characters barely talk to each other in the manga outside of gags. Their last meaningful interaction was in Enies Lobby I think.
