ngl i'm on Tashigi Bumping Zoro scene rn, And its Funny that they used the same Couple that look like Your typical Old English people Three times passing Zoro and Tashigi while both still talking at the same spot LMAO
Producer of first 2 episodes is braindead Karen. So she used only two production techniques, to make scenes. Which is awful. More to that she did that so every scene can be cutted and putted in tik-tok. From episode 3 OP LA really became good.

Welp, Didn't knew that lol.
I'm still at Ipponmatsu scene before Zoro's iconic scene, but yea so far pretty much underwhelming.
i will tell you about the first two eps after i'm done.
Also I really hate how they did Taz and Sanji dirty with his hair.
I hate it so much.
it seems they didn't learn from 1st season

people like One Piece season 2 because you basically forgot everything what happened in first 2 episodes. Second episode is better in some terms but still have it's cringe moments. 1 episode was good only with Smoker fight

Yea i'm just done watching the Ep 1, it seems all the budget went into Smoker vs Sanji and Luffy.
Alvida vs Luffy is weird and goofy as hell
I didn't like the Ippomatsu scene too, kinda missing something in there.
Zoro vs Tashigi is meh.
Luffy execution scene also didn't do well for me
Buggy Characterization is good btw, It seems the LA Crew really love Buggy.
Also why Sabo even in there lol
Don't tell me they are using this

Episode 1 so far..
Huge disappointment

Stopped watching after
Alvida just casually knocked out Luffy

Until that point it was at least decent, but as as if Luffy's actor coming off as uncanny all the time wasn't enough, they completely had to change the whole build up to Luffy almost getting executed for no reason lol

Season 3 could be a stand out for one simple reason - the desert setting allows them for a lot more real-life location shots, making up for tge lacklustre sets so far.
And sand dunes are picturesque without trying, anyway.
If they focus a bit of their budget on a proper cinematographer along with the things I mentioned previously, season 3 could be a huge improvement.

Basically confirmed stuff: Karoo (and probably the whole Duck squad), Ace's actor, Bon-chan's actor

Though I wonder what Season 3 will cover? If it's only Alabasta then 8 episodes are overkill. Stuff will be cut, some show only stuff will be added, but overall the story will be shorter than in the anime.
Do we get Jaya as the final 2 episodes?
Or a show only intro to the rest of the world? Maybe Shanks and WB meeting, or a show-only BB crew introduction episode?
A full season for just Alabasta is too much. They already cut Usopp/Chopper fight with the baseball duo, through Smoker in the episode with the destroyed snails.
So at least we are going to see Jaya.
I would like Alabasta + full Skypea in one season, but it's probably impossible with only 8 episodes.

Those baroque works agents that Smoker fought weren’t Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas. That was Mr. 11 and Miss Thursday, the latter of which is only mentioned in the manga. I get the confusion since they gave Miss Thursday a baseball pitcher gimmick whereas Mr. 4 has a batter gimmick.

OK, so I finished 2 season.

It is 200% better than 1 season.
It's more based on original manga than 1 season.

LA made Baroque Works assasins look like real assasins, not like just clowns.
Ms.Goldenweek - is mad shit crazy;
Ms. Valentine - merciful insane killer;
Mr3 - has aura of mad man who is ready to kill people;
Vapol - great;
Vivi - great;
Mr9 - great

Biggest Flaw of this season was 1 and 2 episodes because of bad producer.
Another flaw was Drum Island who didn't have enough screentime to show everything.
Overall 8.5

My guess is the marines will have a greater presence in the Alabasta arc than in the manga. Smoker, Tashigi and Hina will get more stuff to do since they're specifically there to investigate Baroque Works. We were pretty light on the marines during season 2 since most of it was Straw Hats vs. Baroque Works.

It's not hard to imagine what a more expansive version of the Alabasta arc could look like.
