I think that was a way to get rid off those two.
Usopp told Brogy a lie about defeating a "mole-lady monster" with a 5t hammer, if I don't remember wrong.
The Netflix adaptation doesn't follow the manga 1:1.
Nah, they're following the manga where Usopp's brags and lies end up predicting future events. Remember when he bragged about taking down a giant goldfish before the events of Little Garden happened?

The Netflix adaptation is like an alternate retelling of One Piece where the main events do happen but are slightly rearranged (Broggy drinks the explosive ale, Crocus lives at the lighthouse outside of Laboon, Buggy is the first one to use seastone)

I agree that Chopper's animation will put a huge strain on the budget. They'll need to get creative with his screen time and work around animating him.
I figure they're just gonna use Chopper's human form way more often. I distinctly remember that during pre-TS, Chopper was in this form 50% of time and then post-TS he relied more on his hybrid form because that's when Oda made him a full-on cutesy mascot.

Finished season 2. Was clearly better than season 1.

Favorite scenes (not in order)

Luffy climbing K2 with Nami
Luffy vs Smoker fight
Mr 3 overall acting and display
Entry of the unluckies (funny af)
Chopper appearence (cute and in point)

Chopper Hiruluk scenes felt like OG One piece !!!!!!! 10/10

Usopp actor

Episode 7 was my favorite.

Final conclusion: setting getting a lot better, dialogues more impactful, luffys acting feels better with every episode. Hopes are high for season 3.

:BigW:

Haven’t finished but Inaki is going to have to work on his Luffy,it’s not bad but his character feels the least polished in the crew. interestingly enough he feels more Luffy outside of the show vs him trying to act like Luffy. Luffy’s probably the most difficult to portray in live action Format so I give him props for that. Luckily for Inaki the casting around him is top tier for the show. So the show isn’t hurt too bad From his performance.

He carries a lot of weight on his shoulders. I hope he can relax more in the coming seasons.
