This is the best case scenario for how I think they would handle the rest of series. I'm not even gonna touch post-TS because it's so far out and I honestly do not care for that half of the story nearly as much as pre-TS. Assume 8 episodes in each season as is the norm for Netflix shows these days.

  • Season 3: Alabasta This is one is already confirmed. Will end exactly as it did in original story with Robin joining the crew. Maybe there could be a stinger with the log pose pointing up but that's as far as it should go.
  • Season 4: Jaya + Skypeia I don't know why people keep saying they should skip this saga, it's a necessary breather after the heaviness of the Alabasta arc with its civil war plotline. The Straw Hats are going on a whimsical adventure to a sky island so it has the vibes of a tropical vacation (Bon Voyage!). Plus, this is where you foreshadow the Going Merry's increasing state of disrepair.
  • Season 5: Long Ring Long Land + Water 7 + Enies Lobby + Post Enies Lobby Okay this one is dense but hear me out. Most of Enies Lobby is just fighting CP9 and the buster call which would naturally go by way quicker in a live-action show than in the manga (where everything has extended narration), also the meat of the plot occurs during the Water 7 arc anyways. Plus, Netflix shows tend to vary in runtime so the length of the episodes here can be longer if need be. Realistically I expect the show to end at this point since usually big Netflix shows don't go on past five seasons but who knows, One Piece might be different.
  • Season 6: Thriller Bark + Sabaody Archipelago Only do this if they get a dual season renewal to wrap up the show. End the season on the cliffhanger of Kuma disappearing the Straw Hats for dramatic effect
  • Season 7: Amazon Lily + Impel Down + Marineford + Post War + Return to Sabaody Pretty self-explanatory for the final season. The epilogue episode being Return to Sabaody ends the series on a happy note.

The first 2 episodes are dog shit, 3 is great, the other are meh, the stuff with Hirulukk is also great the actor carried.

Only episode 3 is an improvement, imo, an objectively better version of the manga. The Hiruluk stuff is great, but that's also kino in the manga. So you get an adaptation that butchered some manga moments with some good moments, but overall, imo, neither a faithful adaptation nor enough original stuff for the run time.

A lot of improvement if season 3 is also like that, meh, cant imagine watching it, no more value was produced imo, sloppa

It doesn't matter

If the show makes it to Water 7, I wouldn't surprised if the writers give Foxy the Don Krieg treatment and the Long Ring Long Land episode is focused primarily on Kuzan. I think it was a good move to have the Baratie arc focus on Mihawk in season 1.
