On the cover page, Robin is planting a garden with a bunch of widdle moles! In striped stockings to boot! It's adorable! But, what SECRETS does it hide?! Are the moles a stand in for the Ancient Weapon Pluton?! Is Robin going to end up driving Pluton by the end of the story? Probably not. It's just cute. And sometimes that's okay!
The Reversi'd Giants are ready to rumble! Looks like Dorry's got a wound on his arm now, to match Brogy's lost hand we saw last chapter. Same arm too, the right arm. If Oda keeps this up, people are going to start accusing him of ripping off Star Wars.
"DDT" is such a weird name. I assume it's a pro wrestling reference, like a lot of the Giant's names?
It's hard to hurt your friends...until you remember that all your friends are jerks! You tap into that repressed anger, Brogy! This will probably be a REALLY cool scene when it gets animated, eventually. Zoro really goes all out, cutting one Giant's head into pizza slices.
Jarul: "Everyone I know is a bunch of psychopaths."
Huh...Chopper smacks a Reversi'd Giant, and it seems to separate the Giant from his "demonic shadow" behind him, and he flips over without getting killed. That's...strange. It's possible that it's because Chopper and someone else got this Giant between them, so the rules of Reveri the game worked in their favor. But, looking at the way the page is laid out that doesn't seem to be the case. It looks like Kashi, Chopper, and Scopper are all one one side, so they probably couldn't have gotten between the Giant. So...either there's something secretly special about Chopper's Human Fruit...or it's something involving Chopper's Rumble Ball having a odd effect on Reversi...or maybe it's something unique to the Strawhats since they've been "bathing" in so much "Nika energy" from being around Luffy...or could it be that ANY Devil Fruit attack can un-Reversi someone? I...THINK Chopper is actually the first person with a Devil Fruit we've seen attack someone who was Reversi'd. Roger and Garp didn't have Devil Fruits when they fought Rocks. And I don't think any of the Strawhats with Devil Fruits have gotten a chance to attack someone who was Reversi'd. So...I think any Devil Fruit User is able to separate someone who was Reversi'd from their "Demonic Shadow". Huh...I guess Devil Fruits are supposed to be rare, but that's actually a pretty huge flaw with Domi Reversi, if that's the case.
Meanwhile, Killingham's gone and lost his head. And his legs. The Strawhats are just able to tie up the pieces of Killingham to keep them apart. That's...pretty humiliating for Killingham, I gotta admit. "It's hard to believe THESE are the kind of knights they have protecting the Holy Land". Whoof. Uh...yeah...not the most shining moment for the God's Knights this chapter.
And, yup, Loki do be big. The people trying to keep up with what the scale is here are probably weeping.
Awww...Nami ruined Luffy's fun. There, there Luffy. At least Ragnir/Ratatoskr is on your side. Nami might not be the strongest fighter, but she's got the most "power" out of anyone.
Heh. Another lightning attack that Luffy's immune to. That's kind of fun.
Usopp's trying to save Brook from Imunko! And...most of it was offscreened?! C'MON ODA! WHY?! Well...this might count as Usopp's moment during this arc. Hopefully, the anime expands on it...I guess. *Harrumph* Well, at least he gets a pretty good speech out of it.
I guess my theory about Usopp possibly looking like Joyboy was probably wrong. Imu doesn't react seeing Usopp, either. We really haven't gotten a lot of reactions out of Imu like I though we would, lately.
"A dominant ruler... never sullies their own hands" Somehow, I get the feeling someone taught Imu that lesson in the past. I wonder who?
Imu calls Luffy and Loki, "Nika" and "Nidhogg". Interesting that no matter what name they use, they're still alliterative. It really was meant to be.
"This battle shall divide the World!" I think that line could actually be more literal than a lot of people think. But, that might be a topic for it's own thread down the line, maybe.
Next time...we're probably FINALLY getting Loki and Luffy versus Imunko! It's been a LONG time coming. We've waiting through the longest flashback in One Piece history for this. You can BET I'm looking forward to it! So, whatever you do Oda...PLEASE don't cut over to someone else again, I beg of you!
