General & Others Is One Piece getting carried by the Anime?

One Piece is probably the last series you could claim is carried by it’s anime lol
Not to say these series are “carried” by them but how many Naruto or Dragonball fans have actually read their manga?
Most of them have only seen the anime because it’s a great viewing experience. The One Piece anime is straight up inferior to the manga for 99% of it
A lot of people drop the anime, pick up the manga, and proceed to blaze through it (because the pacing of the anime is shit)
It’s actually one of the few older mainstream shonen that’s like that. OP’s adaptation has always been the worst among them

I used to be anime watcher only for this series but I dropped the anime mid way through fishman island because of pacing and haven't read a single chapter. After started reading the chapter, I realized the pacing is not much difference, the advantage of manga is more details and more accurate, so we can theorizes in community and crafting head cannons.
