I see no reason why he would not be awakened tbh. Especially if he's fighting side by side with Luffy.

The difference should be whatever was the difference between ACoC Luffy and G5 Luffy.

He is already and would even more so with awakening be an Island threat. With his size, haki, AoE and AP he could literally wipe out islands. That is different to normal humans like for example Zoro who might or might not have more "concentrated AP" in a straight up duel but can't hope to measure up when it comes to AoE.

Lokis seems to be all round a good fighter in every department (DF, AP, AoE, 3 hakis, general fighting ability) but his main weakness is probably the same as for all giants and even more ancient ones - they are too damn big. On the one hand it allows them to truly demolish a town with one strike but they also become huge targets.

Joyboy level maybe. 16 year old loki who just got his DF was manhandling HK harald who should be comparable to DR Xebec who was manhandling garp + roger at same time.
