Loki can’t join because he’s just too big too strong and eats too much. Okay but what if he deadass just ends up joining? Does it sound crazy? Yes

Why the hell am I saying we could get 15 members with 4 more to join even after Loki? There shouldn’t be too many islands past elbaf for completely new characters to join but 1. They don’t have to be new characters 2. We can gather more members on the way back
I’ve been a big supporter of us getting 1 member to represent each original location of a road poneglyph and I still am. I used to think characters like Loki were way too important to join so instead of actually getting the main guy we’d get a representative instead.
Also yes I believe the original location of the poneglyph Big Mon took was elbaf
Kinda like we got Jinbe to join the crew and not Shirahoshi the mermaid princess and reincarnation of Poseidon
Also how we’d assumingely get Yamato to join the crew and not Momonosuke the shogun of Wano and reincarnation of the OG Kouzuki
While Yamato for better or worse will definitely eventually join the crew similar to Tama what if they end up being stuck on protection duty for now. Hiyori could end up being the temporary leader kinda like Toki did while Yamato ends up being the muscle
If anyone is more Oden like than Yamato it would have to be his son Momonosuke. Obviously Momo being shogun is a big deal he like his father might have a greater purpose to achieve outside of Wano. Similar to even Loki if he end up joining. Odens main problem was that he had no one to protect the land while he was away a problem momo doesn’t share
Also yes if Momonosuke joins I think we’re 100% getting Carrot to tag along similar to how not just Oden joined Roger’s crew but Inu and Neko alongside him. Them coincidentally being the future rulers of Zou
And yes I do think there’s a real chance Carrot might actually be a god a reincarnation of a god as well. In her case her having the ability to control the whales
Carrot despite the people at the time calling her too irrelevant to join the crew especially in wano might unironically be too important to join the main crew
We know zou is the original location of a road poneglyph alongside fishman island and wano kuni
Both nations also being the location of ancient weapons/those who can use the voice of all things
Leading up to while there might not be an ancient weapon there there might be another sovereign
We know that the whales like the sea kings were also waiting for the return of their sovereign, carrot is only a year younger than shirahoshi, and that there’s deadass a whale tree in zou
So all points to the other sovereign being a mink from zou
As for why we’ve never seen her use that power
- She’s never met a whale and can likely only communicate with them same as shirahoshi with sea kings or momonosuke with zunesha
- Luffy hasn’t been able to use it until post timeskip
Look next to the whale and guess what it’s a mink. So yeah carrot like momonosuke and Shirahoshi might just be too important to join the crew. For better or worse it might also apply to Loki but idk
There’s a not zero chance that for better or worse Luffy gets another separate journey from the crew like post Sabaody to gather and team up with the reincarnations of nika’s and joyboy’s crews
Carrot and Momo representing the moon while Shirahoshi and Loki represent the sun
Momonosuke and Carrot the rulers of Wano and Zou that represent the moon. Both countries having deep connections tied back all the way to the void century
Shirahoshi and Loki the princess and prince of Fishman island and Elbaf respectively represent the sun. Them likely also having closely connected countries considered the Adam and Eve trees
If you put 2 and 2 together you’d rightfully assume I also think Shirahoshi should also join too. That way we get all 4 sovereigns that reside where the road poneglyph were placed finally all together with Luffy aka the sun god
Also if we can have 2 furrys and 2 samurai I don’t think having 2 fish people is too much
Okay now let’s say each one of them become official strawhats. So now we got Loki, Momonosuke, Carrot and Shirahoshi all apart of the crew that’s still just 4. Still missing 1 more them arguably being the most important

She’s already an official unofficial member of the crew and she coincidentally has nowhere to go seeing as she can’t go back to Alabasta for now. The perfect place for her now definitely being with the strawhats
While I think it’s possible for all 5 to join obviously it would have to be a temporary thing due to each of them having responsibilities to their respective kingdoms when everything is said and done. 15 might also sound like too much but
- Again it’d have to be temporary
- Oda either way is going to be using too many characters so them joining or not isn’t gonna help the other strawhats get more attention
- While it might not happen in the main story Luffy is definitely going to recruit more people anyway like Tama for example
