They can fight but Loki's lightning power has been proven useless before a real fight, so it dampens the hype by a lot.

If anything, it makes it better. Luffy will most likely win as a MC protected by plot and his DF powers, but we all know Loki would fry him if not for a plot convenient rubber fruit. So for me it just cements Loki as a crazy strong being, so much that Oda needs to nerf his powers for DF awakened Luffy to have an equal footing 🤣
